A DDoS attack caused intermittent network disruption, which resulted in intermittent packet loss and connectivity issues. The reason for this was that the protection we have in place was unable to fully mitigate the scale of this attack.

To address this and to avoid future occurrences of this issue, we will be putting in place upgraded DDoS mitigation capacity and adding protected transit to our upstream blend. This will be in effect as soon as possible.
